A leading supplier of highly technical anti-theft systems to the financial, banking and retail industries is seeking a self-starting individual to fill the position of Customer Service Representative.  This position will be the primary contact for our customers and sales department.  We seek individuals with the proven capability to interact with internal and external customers in situations ranging from routine order processing to emergency resolution of complaints.  This position is fast-paced and challenging with time critical deadlines.  Candidate should be able to work well under pressure and be able to juggle multiple requests and projects without losing focus.   The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years customer service experience and/or an associate’s degree or higher in related field.  Incumbent must be proficient using the computer with experience using Microsoft Office. Candidate must possess excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communications skills.  Advanced Excel required. 
 
 
JOB DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
·       Provide customer, sales and technician support via phone and email
·       Assess customer needs and resolve issues quickly and accurately
·       Create customer accounts, orders and technician service calls as needed
·       Process orders and invoices in a timely manner consistent with department expectations
·       Support customers’ use of tracking website including troubleshooting, resetting passwords and creating alerts
·       Provide back-up assistance to other Customer Service Representatives
·       Maintain customer information in various applications and databases and handle changes requested by customers
·       Other work and projects as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

         Must be able to use Excel to create pivot tables and V-lookups. 

·       Ability to communication effectively in both written and verbal communication
·       Experience working with external and internal customers
·       Ability to work in a fast paced, changing customer service environment
·       Some experience with billing and inventory management required
·       This job requires prior three (3) years customer service and billing experience.
·       Computer skills include Excel, Word and Access – Intermediate to Advanced Skill Level
·       Exceptional attention to detail
·       Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills
·       Strong understanding of Lotus Notes and Databases
·       Outstanding communication skills
·       Ability to communication effectively in both written and verbal communication
·       Experience working with external and internal customers
·       Ability to work in a fast paced, changing customer service environment
